Hectopar is a flea medication in pipette format, indicated for dogs and cats, which is highly effective in combating fleas. Its composition contains Imidacloprid, which is an active ingredient that acts by contact, causing paralysis and death of fleas without them necessarily needing to bite the animal to be eliminated. The product is applied directly to the animal's skin, usually on the back, where the product spreads through the skin surface and hair follicles, ensuring full coverage. The effect of Hectopar begins to be noticed approximately 12 hours after application and lasts for at least one month. It is indicated for use on dogs and cats from 8 weeks of age, including puppies, adults, seniors, pregnant and lactating animals.
